Bugaboo Fox 5 Renew vs UPPAbaby Cruz V3

These two are the closest match. Both carry up to 50 lb in the seat, both are about 26.5 lb with the seat, and and the Fox folds in one piece that stands on its own [1][5].

The Fox 5 Renew has 12-inch rear wheels and full suspension, and Bugaboo calls it an all-terrain stroller [1]. It includes a bassinet with a 20 lb limit, and the seat has three recline positions and extends 4 inches [1]. It folds to 17.3 by 23.6 by 35.4 inches in one piece, or 35 by 20.9 by 13.4 inches in two pieces [1].

The Cruz V3 is 22.5 inches wide against the Fox's 23.6, and folds to 17 by 22.5 by 32.5 inches with the seat on [5]. It takes UPPAbaby's Mesa and Aria seats directly and comes with an infant insert [5].

Fits you if: you want a bassinet in the box and rougher-surface wheels (Fox 5 Renew), or the narrowest full-size body and no-adapter UPPAbaby seats (Cruz V3).

Bugaboo Donkey 6 vs UPPAbaby Vista V3

Both start as a single and add a second seat, in different layouts. The Donkey 6 becomes a side-by-side double in "three clicks" when you add the sibling seat, which is sold separately [2]. In single mode it is 23.6 inches wide, and the double is only 5.5 inches wider [2]. Bugaboo lists a 33 lb underseat basket and a 22 lb side bag [2].

The Vista V3 is tandem, with up to three children using RumbleSeat and PiggyBack accessories [4]. It is narrower than the Donkey's double, is 27.6 lb against the Donkey's 33.7 lb, and has a 30 lb basket [2][4].

Fits you if: you want children riding side by side at the same height (Donkey 6), or you want a lighter frame and up to three riders (Vista V3).

Bugaboo's closest Nuna matches are the TRIV next and MIXX next. The Dragonfly Plus (22.38 lb with seat) is heavier than the Nuna TRIV next (18.4 lb without the insert, arm bar and canopy, which add about 2.6 lb) [3][7]. Recalls and safety

We searched CPSC's database on October 16, 2026.

  • Bugaboo: In December 2023 CPSC announced a recall of the seat sold with the older Bugaboo Dragonfly Seat strollers. In parent-facing mode the backrest can move down, and an unrestrained infant could tumble from the seat. Bugaboo offers a free replacement seat [8]. CPSC also lists older Bugaboo stroller recalls from 2009 to 2013. We found no recall of the Fox 5 Renew or Donkey 6.
  • UPPAbaby: We found no recall of the V3 Cruz, Vista or Minu. Its 2015 recall covered older Cruz and Vista models and RumbleSeats, and its 2022 recall covered the Ridge jogger.
  • Nuna: We found no CPSC stroller recall for the MIXX next or TRIV next.

These are the recalls we found, not a promise about every recall. Check your model and date at SaferProducts.gov [11], register your stroller, and always use the harness.
