How the directory is built

Every listing starts as a federal record. We clean it, group it by practice address and flag what a named list says, nothing more.

How to claim

  1. Find your listing

Search your city or ZIP, open your listing and choose Claim listing. Or start with your 10-digit NPI.
  2. Request your claim

Provider accounts open soon. Request your claim with the form and we'll email you when you can sign in.
  3. We confirm it's you

We compare your request with the NPI record and the phone number on file.
  4. You edit your listing

Once you can sign in. From your provider dashboard: a description, services, languages, service area, website, email, scheduling link, phone, office address, hours, a photo and your logo. We review every change before it publishes.

Start with your NPI

We'll open the claim page for your listing.

No NPI? Birth centers and hospitals can claim without one.

Frequently asked questions

Is claiming really free?

Yes. Being listed is free and claiming is free. If we ever add a paid placement, it will be labeled as sponsored on the page and it won't change the order of the regular listings.

Where does my listing come from?

From the federal NPI registry (CMS NPPES, September 2026 release). We group the organization and clinician records registered at the same practice address into one listing. If a detail is out of date, it's usually out of date in NPPES too.

Will claiming move me up the list?

No. Listings are ordered the same way for everyone: the main care type first, then organizations, larger teams, the most recently updated NPI records, and name. Claiming and paying can't change that.

Why isn't my street address shown?

Individuals and home-based practices are shown by city and phone only, to protect providers who work from home. If you see clients at an office, add its street address when you claim and we'll show it on your listing.

I'm on my state's Medicaid doula list. Why doesn't my listing say so?

We flag listings from 5 state lists so far (CA, NY, NJ, MN, OR), matched by NPI or by name. If you're on one of those lists and we missed you, tell us through the contact form and we'll check the match. We add more states as they publish lists we can match.

Can I have my listing removed?

Yes. Open your listing's claim page and ask to remove it. We confirm the request with you, usually by calling the number on file, and then hide the listing on every page of the site. Search engines may show the old page for a few weeks, and your record stays in the federal NPI registry.
