This list covers the recalls we found in CPSC's recall database, as of October 19, 2026. It isn't a safety rating of any product or brand, and a recall can cover only some models or dates, so check the official notice and search with your model number before you decide anything.

Where do I look up a high chair by model number?
Search CPSC by product and model number
Nursery products, toys and other consumer products are recalled through the Consumer Product Safety Commission. Search cpsc.gov/Recallsby brand or product, then match the model number and date code on your product's label to the notice. You can report a problem at SaferProducts.gov.Search NHTSA for car seats
Car seats are recalled through NHTSA. On nhtsa.gov/recalls, choose car seats and enter the brand and model name. The model number and date of manufacture are on a label on the seat's shell or base.Register what you own
Car seats and durable nursery products such as cribs, high chairs, strollers and play yards come with a registration card, so the maker can reach you if there's a recall. Mail the card or register on the maker's site.
Questions about high chair recalls
How many high chair recalls have there been?
CPSC has announced 35 high chair recalls since 2010, most recently PandaEar's Portable Hook-On Chairs on May 21, 2026. 4 were announced in the 12 months to October 19, 2026. This count covers the recalls we found in CPSC's records, so search with your model number too.
Which brands have the most high chair recalls?
In this list, Graco (3), Clark Associates (2), Costway (2), Dream On Me (2) and Skip Hop (2) have more than one. 29 brands or companies are named in all. A count of recalls doesn't measure how many products a brand sells or how safe its current products are.
How do I check if my high chair is recalled?
Find the model number and date code on the product's label, then search cpsc.gov/Recalls by brand and product. Each notice lists the affected models and dates.
