Nevada's July 2026 billing guides say lactation services by a qualified non-enrolled professional such as an IBCLC are billed under an enrolled physician, APRN, physician assistant or nurse midwife using health behavior codes 96156-96171; S9443 is not covered. No lactation consultant provider type was found, but no source states IBCLCs cannot enroll. Doulas (PT 90) also include lactation support within their visits.
