Arkansas details
New Supportive Maternal Care manual (sections dated 9-1-26) implements Act 627 of 2025. IBCLCs enroll as their own Medicaid providers; CLCs and Certified Breastfeeding Counselors must be employed by an enrolled IBCLC-led agency, physician, APRN, PA, local health unit or hospital, and employing providers may bill. A statewide standing recommendation covers the required referral, and services inside an inpatient stay are not separately billable.
